Farnsworth is an artist, photojournalist and educator. He has earned his MFA degree in Interdisciplinary Studio Arts at the Maine College of Art in Portland Maine, and his thesis, Multiperspectival Photographic Reappraisal of the Landscape, is available from Lulu publishers.
His background includes agroforestry with the Peace
Corps in Madagascar and program assistance with the World Food Programme in Guinea, West Africa. Photojournalism clients include: UNICEF; IRC; UNHCR; ICRC/Red Cross; USAID/ Winrock International/PEGRN; UNWFP; and Peace Corps. Farnsworth combines a BS in Geosciences and MS in Natural Resources with a passion for environmental communication and holistic interpretation.
